Why It’s So Good For You
This juice shot combines two incredibly powerful ingredients that your body adores! The combination of turmeric and ginger offers a potent mix of compounds that are anti-inflammatory and rich in antioxidants, offering huge immunity benefits!
(use organic ingredients where possible)
Ingredients:
- ¼ inch ginger root
- ¼ inch turmeric root
- 1 small green apple
Instructions:
- Juice all ingredients.
I make Tumeric/Ginger Tea everyday. Hot or cold using 8 or 12 oz. glasses.
4 T. Favorite tea blend
1 t. Fresh Tumeric, zested
1/4 t. Ginger, zested
Combine above in gauze or tea ball, cover, bring to a soft boil. Cover & let sit for 5 minutes. When I ice it, I will leave the lid on until pot cools for stronger flavor.
With OG honey to taste (I use Stivea leaf)
Simmer it with half water & half juice. I make it with mangos too, so yummy.
I don’t strain it either. I don’t know how long it will stay fresh, as it never lasts long enough.
