4 Indian Beauty Secrets for Long, Healthy Hair!

If you like to have longer and more luscious hair, we give you the solution you’ve been looking for. You will learn four simple tricks from India whose benefits will outdo those of your expensive hair products.

These natural tips will get right down to the root of the problems that hamper your hair growthand strength.

1. Aloe Vera Gel

Indians are familiar with the benefits of aloe vera for over 4,000 years. Nowadays, it is known that aloe vera gel includes over 20 vitamins, some of which improve the blood circulation in the scalp, stimulating hair growth. They are vitamin A, B1, B2, B6, B12, C and E. Other compounds in aloe vera which stimulate hair growth are glycoproteins and polysaccharides. They help fight pattern baldness caused by malnutrition, stress, or other temporary factor.

Scoop the gel from a raw aloe vera leaf, and blend it until smooth. Then, rub it throughout your entire scalp.

2. Wash With Cold Water

Trina Remedios is a holistic lifestyle author in India Times who shares this hair tip. The heat that comes when you wash your hair with very hot water opens the follicles wide, removing the nutrients and oil your hair needs to grow. On the other hand, if you wash it with cold water, your follicles won’t open to lose the vital nutrients your hair needs.

3. Egg Mask

This hair trick comes from the former Miss India. The abundant amount of proteins in eggs stimulate hair growth and moisture. This will help your hair strengthen and grow long. Besides fresh eggs, you will need some probiotic yoghurt which will heal your damaged hair, acting as a thickening Agent.

Crack open two fresh eggs in a bowl. Use only the egg whites if your hair is naturally oily, but if it’s dry, don’t separate the egg yolks from the whites, and use them both. Then, add 4 tablespoons of probiotic yoghurt, and mix well. Apply the resulting mixture throughout your entire hair, and allow it to act for 20 minutes before rinsing it off with cold water.

4. Essential Oils

There are many essential oils used for hair growth treatment. But, the tea tree, chamomile, and cypress oil are those recommended by the Indian Spot. You can combine them as you wish, or mix them with other ‘base’ oil such as coconut or olive oil. Add 6 drops of the essential oil per ounce of base oil. Once you prepare it, rub it throughout your locks and allow it to act for around half an hour. Then, wash as usual.
