A Chemical Found In The “Colgate” Toothpaste Linked To Cancer!

We are all familiar with the fact that there are thousands of toothpaste brands but if you are a “Colgate” fan, you have to read this.

One of the recent studies showed that the worldwide popular brand “Colgate” contains a harmful substance which may cause cancer and many other bad diseases. This compound, known as Triclosan, is widely used in deodorants, hand sanitizers, antiseptics and laundry detergents. Another study, conducted and published by the magazine “Chemical research in toxicology”, proved that this chemical, may lead to cancer if used in great amounts.

It is common that the governments don’t tell us the side-effects of a chemical until terrible things happen and then they put ban to it. This was the case with some very toxic materials like asbestos, PCB and DT. Canada is the only country which actually banned Triclosan. The problem with Triclosan is that it passes through the skin and goes into our bloodstream causing hormone imbalance. Despite all of these proofs and studies, “Colgate” still claims that this chemical is completely safe and tested. It is up to us to decide whether we’ll trust them or not and whether we’ll continue to use their toothpaste.
