How To Make Healthy Hot Chocolate Squares

It is not unusual for people to experience chocolate cravings even several times a day. Who doesn’t like chocolates? They are very tasty and they are good antioxidants.

However, chocolates are rich in sugar. This means that they can lead to inflammation in the system. That’s why many chocolate lovers are constantly trying to create some recipes that will satisfy their cravings, take advantage of antioxidants and avoid sugar. One of the best recipes like this is the honey and cocoa powder recipe (without sugar).
In other words, you can expect similar beneficial effects like you get from chocolate supported by the effects of organic honey. You can also use coconut oil which is rich in gelatin (excellent for the gut lining, hair and nail) and healthy, useful fats.

Healthy Hot Chocolate Squares

Prepare yourself for a very healthy hot chocolate squares recipe. We hope that you will be able to control yourself and wait until the meal cools down.

Ingredients:

  • Three tablespoons of gelatin
  • 1 ¼ cup of boiling water
  • Half a cup of cocoa powder
  • Half a cup of cold water
  • Half a cup of coconut milk powder
  • 1/3 cup of raw, organic honey
  • One cup of coconut oil
  • A pinch of sea salt
  • One tablespoon of vanilla
  • Extra coconut oil to grease the baking dish.

Instructions:

Use the coconut oil to grease the baking dish and leave it aside. Coil about 1 ¼ cups of water in a small sauce pan.

After that, take a blender and add half a cup of cold water and the gelatin. Leave it for a while (a few mins) before it turns into gel.

Pay attention: Most people are fond of coconut milk powder and that’s why they also use half cocoa powder and half coconut milk powder. If you want, you should use cocoa powder only and you will get chocolate squares that look and feel more like chocolates.

After that, pour all the other ingredients in the blender. Blend for a while until you notice that the mixture is liquefied.

Next, pour the mixture in the greased glass baking dish. Put it in the fridge until it becomes solid. Make cubes and enjoy the dessert!

You can use a plastic bag to store them and if they are left in the fridge they can last for seven days.

This recipe will provide 25 cubes (one inch each).
