Powerful Syrup to Dissolve Kidney Stones

Kidney stones are one of the most common urinary disorders in the United States and the National Kidney Foundation estimates that they are responsible for approximately 10 million doctor’s visits each year (which includes trips to the emergency room). As anyone who has ever passed a kidney stone will know, it is an incredibly painful experience and not one which many would care to repeat.

Fortunately, there are some natural therapies which can be used to treat kidney stones and dissolve them into smaller pieces so that they will be easier and less painful to pass from the urinary tract. One recipe for just such a treatment is given below. It is possible to make this elixir in just a few minutes but it is a very powerful therapy for this particular condition.

What are Kidney Stones?

Kidney stones are formed with deposits of minerals – usually some form of calcium – collect in the kidneys and eventually form small, pebble-like clumps. If these remain within the kidney itself, a person can give them for months or even years and not even know if because there are no symptoms. However, if the stones shift and get stuck in the ureters, the tubes which lead form the kidneys to the bladder, the effect can be swelling, tenderness, a back-up of urine and sometimes excruciating pain.
Therapy for this revolves around trying to get the kidney stones to pass from the ureter to the bladder, then out from the bladder during urination. Drinking large amounts of fluids to do this can help to flush the system out. However, pushing fluids is more effective if it is combined with therapies to help break up the stones and make them easier to pass. The recipe below provides just such a therapy.

Recipe for Kidney Stone-Melting Syrup

Ingredients :

  • 1 cup olive oil
  • 1 whole lemon, with rind
  • 1 cup organic honey
  • 1 large bunch chopped parsley root
  • 1 cup maple syrup

Preparation:

Chop whole lemon (with rind) into chunks and put in blender. Process it to mix it well. Add other four ingredients to blender and process again until smooth. Transfer to a glass jar with an airtight lid and refrigerate.

Dosage

Take one tablespoon of this mixture in the morning before eating breakfast, then drink plenty of fluids throughout the day.

Why this Treatment Works

This treatment works because, firstly, the extremely acidic nature of the lemon allows the calcium-based kidney stones to start to dissolve into smaller pieces and granules which are easier to pass. The parsley root, meanwhile, is a natural diuretic to encourage an increase in urination and the honey and molasses both make this therapy more palatable and provide natural antimicrobial benefits.

In short, if someone is unlucky enough to suffer from kidney stones, this therapy can help to naturally dissolve those deposits and make it easier to flush out of the system, provided a much-needed relief from the pain and discomfort of this condition!
