Decode Your Abdominal Pain with This Simple Map

The area between your chest and legs is the abdomen. There are various reasons for feeling pain in this area, and while some of them are harmless, others can seriously threaten your health.

About 90% of people are occasionally affected by the common pang known as abdominal pain.

On the other hand, mild, but long-term abdominal pain might be a sign of a chronic disease that needs to be cured.

If your abdominal pain lasts more than two weeks, regardless of the specific part of your abdomen, you need to visit your doctor to eliminate more severe diagnosis. Other reasons to consult your doctor should be persistent vomiting and bloat, or blood in your stool.

According to MedlinePlus, abdominal pain is pain felt anywhere between the groin and chest.
