These Foods Are Killing Us! Here’s Why You Should Avoid Them!

“The greatest enemy of health is processed foods with lots of additives, and still do not know which the long term effects of consuming these foods are,”says Rachel Harvest, a nutritionist from New York.

You really do not need hot dogs, sausages and salami in your diet, because processed meat is loaded with fat, and it contains up to 400 percent more salt and 50 percent more preservatives than regular red meat; producers add dextrose to disguise the salinity.

“Many don’t know that bologna and salami special are not the same. Deli may contain only the proteins of the meat until a specific sausage may contain soy, gluten and skins. The same is the case with the Tyrolean Alps and sausage. Tyrol contains only the proteins of meat, and alpine proteins of other origin,” explains a technologist in a food company.

He also explained that pizza and ham products are of poor quality, because according to him these are the worst types of meat. They are hydrogenated and later shredded, so the large amount of water cannot be noticed.

Harvest added that industrially processed foods have no nutritional value.

“It has too much salt and sugar, artificial colors, which the body cannot process. Processing over which are added various flavorings used in the meat and dairy industry. You have the margarine with the taste of butter, low fat cheese from processed vegetable oils. All this is unhealthy, burden the liver and kidneys, clog arteries and increase the risk of heart attack and stroke.”

Here are the foods you should avoid:

Pate
Pate is made from the cheapest and worst meat categories, including skins, bones, hooves, cartilage… Half of the pate is actually water, fat, skins, offal, starch, salt, spices, emulsifiers, and other chemicals.

Some types of pate contain barely 30 percent meat. Pate also has large amounts of salt. Take into consideration that pate in cans has slightly better quality than other types of pate.

Margarine
Producers use vegetable oils to make margarine, and these oils are extracted from sunflower. They often use chemicals to get the best. High temperatures used to convert the oil destroys the vitamins and antioxidants.

This contributes to the creation of free radicals which damage sells and increase the risk of developing cancer. The oils are starch rancid and unhealthy, and the chemicals convert them into solid state. The slices have twice more salt than regular cheese, and they have much more fat than any other daily product. Melting kills the probiotic and other good bacteria.

Popcorn
Microwave is on this list, too. It contains chemicals that increase the risk of developing cancer, affect fertility, and kidney function. This product contains artificial flavors, trans-fatty acids, and other chemicals that cause headaches and nausea. Nutritionist suggest that all popcorn lovers should make their favorite snack in the traditional way – in a saucepan, and yes, on the stove.

Hot Dog
Hot dogs are made from offal, skin, nails, hooves, intestines, blood vessels, cartilage, fat, bones, ligaments, and worst quality meat. The producers grind the mixture to the extent that these are no longer recognizable.

They add vegetables, soybeans, spices, starch, water, a lot of salt, sodium nitrate (a preservative) so the product can last for long, potassium and calcium triphosphates, polyphosphates, sodium ascorbate and carmine – color contained in lipsticks and paprika extract. And that is what you eat.

What do they contain?

Sodium nitrate
This preservative and seasoning is commonly added to meat products like sausages, bacon and ham. Experts associate it with an increased risk of cancer, and many studies have revealed that it can cause heart problems.

Carrageenan
It is one of the most damaging additives. In liquid products, it ensures homogeneity and perfect density, and in cured meat it is added to bind water so it can be heavier. It is often associated with colon cancer.

Polyphosphates
Producers keep adding these to meat products, and they do not even mind that excessive ingestion of these causes gene mutations.

Monosodium Gutamate
It is added in order to obtain a better taste of final products, and “delicious poison” is its second name. Today, almost every product contains it. It affects the function of your hormones, leading to hyperactivity in children, chronic fatigue, changes in blood pressure, and headaches.

Trans-Fatty Acids
These artificial fats are added so the products can last for longer. Trans-fatty acids increase the level of bad LDL cholesterol and reduce good HDL cholesterol, increase the risk of heart diseases and stroke, and damages the arteries.
