How to Prepare Lemongrass Tea

Required Ingredients

  • 2 lemongrass stalks
  • Juice from half a lime
  • 1 tea bag
  • Honey to sweeten
  • Pinch of ground cinnamon
  • Boiling water

Preparation

Remove the dry outer leaves and the root end of the stalks. Use a rolling pin to gently bruise the stalk base. Tie the stalks in a knot, and put them in a cup. Add the honey and cinnamon, and pour them with boiling water. Then, add the tea bag and once you notice the water gets golden brown color, remove it. Serve with a lemongrass stirrer.
