Ojas needs 30 days to be manufactured in the body, resulting from various enzymatic actions that begins with the digestion of food in the blood, body’s lymph, bone, muscle, nerve, fat and reproductive tissues. Herbal Milk for Deep Sleep
The Ayurvedic medicine points out that milk is the only mechanism through which some spices and herbs can be used to build up the emptied ojas.
The following herbal medicine will improve the quality of your sleep.
You will need the following ingredients:
- 1 cup of Milk
- 1 tablespoon Chopped dates
- 2 teaspoons of Coconut meat or flakes
- 1/2 teaspoon of Saffron
- 2 teaspoons of Chopped almonds
- ½ teaspoon of Ghee
- 1/8 teaspoon of Cardamom
- 1 teaspoon of Raw Honey
Method of preparation:
Put all of the ingredients in the milk and bring them boil slowly. You can also add 1/8 teaspoon of Ashwagandha or Shatavari in this combination. When cooked, turn off the flame and add some raw honey.
Drink this type of milk every night for three months and in that way, you will build up ojas and improve your quality of sleep.
You can use coconut, almond or any other type instead of regular milk. The warmth of the milk will soothe your body while the milk peptides will provide many health benefits for your body.
