Testicular cancer is cancer that occurs when cells begin to grow abnormally in the testis Testicular cancer is a type of cancer that is quite rare, but this condition most often affects men in the age group of 15-49 years old. The testicular is the male sex organ oval located in the scrotum. Here are the types of testicular cancer classified based on the type of cancer cells, namely:

Germ cells

The most common testicular cancer type occurring bout 95 percent of all cases. Germ-cell is a type of cell that the body uses to form sperm. This type of testicular cancer can be divided into two types, namely seminoma (growing and spreading slowly) and nonseminoma (growing and spreading rapidly).


The type of cancer appears about 4 percent of the overall cases of testicular cancer.

Tumor Leydig

The type of cancer appears about 1-3 percent of all testicular cancer cases.

Tumor Sertoli

The type of cancer appears about 1 percent of all cases of testicular cancer.
